Sensor and cable connections
A checklist for connecting the sensors to the control unit reliably with the connection cables.
Check the connectors
Before connecting, check the cable and sensor connectors for dirt, moisture or bent pins.
Connect the sensor end
Plug the cable into the sensor and make sure the connector is fully seated.
Connect the control unit end
Plug the other end into a channel input on the control unit, one channel per sensor.
Route the cable
Keep the cable away from sharp edges, tension and walkways. Coil any excess neatly.
Check the channel
Select the channel on the control unit and tap lightly next to the sensor to confirm the signal.
